International Day of Persons with Disabilities

The United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) is observed annually on December 3rd. This day aims to promote the rights, well-being, and inclusion of persons with disabilities worldwide.

World Braille Day

In November 2018, the United Nations General Assembly decided to proclaim 4 January as World Braille Day, recognizing that the full realization of human rights and fundamental freedoms relies on an inclusive written promotion. Louis Braille was born on January 4, 1809 in France.
